ANTI-N- DNA (Lupus Erythematosus) – 50 test

Rapid slide test for detection of anti-N-DNA.

Test gave positive reactions with 92% of the samples having titers of ANA ³ 1/20 by immunofluorescence method.

ANTI-STREPTOLYSIN O (ASO) – 100 test

Agglutination latex test without predilution. The ASO latex is a slide agglutination test for the qualitative and semiquantitative detection of anti-streptolysin O (ASO) antibodies.

Analitical sensitivity: 200 (± 50) IU/ml under the described assay conditions. Prozone effect: no prozone effect was detected up to 1500 UI/ml. Diagnostic sensitivity: 98%. Diagnostic specificity: 97%.

C-REACTIVE PROTEIN (CRP) – 100 TEST

The CRP latex is a slide agglutination test for the qualitative and semiquantitative detection of C-reactive protein (CRP) in human serum.

Analitical sensitivity: 6 (5-10) mg/l under the described assay conditions. Prozone effect: no prozone effect was detected up to 1600 mg/l. Diagnostic sensitivity: 95,6%. Diagnostic specificity: 96,2%.

INFECTIOUS MONONUCLEOSIS (IM) – 50 TEST

The IM latex is a slide agglutination test for the qualitative and semiquantitative detection of  heterophile antibodies (HE) specific for infectious mononucleosis (IM).

Analitical sensitivity: titer equal to 1/28 by the Davidsohn method under the described assay conditions. Prozone effect: no prozone effect was detected up to 1/256 titer. Diagnostic sensitivity: 100%. Diagnostic specificity: 100%.

RHEUMATOID FACTOR (RF)  – 100 TEST

The RF latex is a slide agglutination test for the qualitative and semiquantitative detection of RF in human serum.

Analitical sensitivity: 8 (6-16) IU/mL under the described assay conditions. Prozone effect: no prozone effect was detected up to 1500 UI/mL. Diagnostic sensitivity: 100%. Diagnostic specificity: 100%.

RPR-carbon test – 150 TEST

The RPR carbon is a non-treponemal slide agglutination test for the qualitative and semiquantitative detection of plasma reagins in human serum.

Analitical sensitivity: The reagent sensitivity is calibrated against the “Human Reactive Serum” from CDC (Centre for Disease Control). Prozone effect: no prozone effect was detected up to titer ³  1/128. Diagnostic sensitivity: 100%. Diagnostic specificity: 98%.

TPHA 100 TEST

The TPHA (Treponema Pallidum Hemagglutination) is an indirect hemagglutination test for the qualitative and semi-quantitative detection of specific anti-T.pallidum antibodies in human serum.

Analitical sensitivity: The reagent sensitivity is calibrated against the “Human Reactive Serum” from CDC (Centre for Disease Control). Prozone effect: no prozone effect was detected up to titers ³ 1:163840  (note 4). Diagnostic sensitivity: 99.5%. Diagnostic specificity: 100%.

WAALER ROSE – 50 TEST

The Waaler Rose test is a slide hemaglutination method for the qualitative and semiquantitative detection of RF in human serum.

Analitical sensitivity: 8 (6-16) IU/ml under the described assay conditions. Prozone effect: no prozone effect was detected up to 800 UI/ml. Diagnostic sensitivity: 100%. Diagnostic specificity: 93.6%.
